Your position and role at Powell UMC? What are you passionate about? I am the Deacon in Residence. I am passionate about helping people connect worship to faith and life in the world.
 
What is the favorite part of your job? Watching and being with others as lives are impacted by faith, service, justice and compassion.
 

Family: I am married to Brian. We have three adult sons, three grandchildren and extended relationships that we call “family”.

Where are you from? I grew up in a very small town in rural Illinois. I have lived in Indiana, numerous places in Ohio and in New England.

Ministry background, degrees, credentialsI have a Bachelor of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University and did graduate work at Indiana State University, Cleveland State University, and Methodist Theological School in Ohio. I was certified in Christian Education and am ordained as a Deacon.

What are your hobbies? Reading, needlework, walking, being in the out of doors.

What has God been teaching you lately? To be flexible and patient.
