Your position and role at Powell UMC; What are you passionate about? Church Treasurer. I am passionate about performing this role for the Church as we serve the Lord in areas needing our gifts and talents and growing in all ways, serving the Lord.
 
What is the favorite part of your job? Providing useful financial information to those performing ministry within our Church.
 
Family: My wife Sue and I have four married children and four amazing grandchildren.
 
Where are you from? I grew up in Doddridge County, WV, graduated college from WVU in Morgantown and moved to Columbus in 1975.
 
Ministry background, degrees: BS from WVU in Management and Finance, and an AS from Franklin University in Accounting. My background is accounting and management positions in various companies.
 
What are your hobbies? Fly fishing, landscape work at home, reading history, and watching “The Chosen” tv series.
 
Your favorite quote or verse from the Bible: John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.”
 
What has God been teaching you lately? We do not always understand the ways of the world, but we place our full trust in God knowing that God is in control.
