Church Camp is important! Church Camp provides a place for children to grow in their faith… To build friendships, and to grow closer with God away from their homes! Children need space to have fun, ask questions, develop their personalities and to experience life … and yes that means away from their parents!
Church Camp is expensive. The average cost ranges from $350 – $450 per camper for a full week! At Powell UMC we take the faith development of children and youth very seriously. We want to encourage and support every child/youth that attends church camp with a $100.00 rebate! We also want to provide full “camperships” for any family that needs a little help! DONATE TODAY… HELP OUR CHILDREN ATTEND CHURCH CAMP! The camp spreads out across 450 acres in the beautiful Hocking Hills of southwest Ohio. The vast natural setting of wooded hills and green valleys provides a broad landscape for campers to explore and enjoy the splendor of God’s wilderness and discover Christ’s close presence in our lives.
