Vacation Bible School 2024
Program Overview 
Powell UMC is excited to take kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!
This summer take a 5 day journey with Powell UMC Vacation Bible School to allow your child’s world to be transformed! We will explore God’s Word, grow in friendships with each other and with Christ! The Bible stories come to life through teaching, exploring, and understanding how God is talking to us through scripture today in a fun, relevant and exciting way!
Meet the Bible Buddies, Learn and Understand Scripture, Discover in Imagination Station. Praise in Music. Meet friends and Grow Closer to Jesus at VBS!
This is a magical week where children engage, learn and build their faith! Sign your child up today… sign yourself or a youth up to volunteer and allow yourself or youth to be transformed too!

Overall Information About VBS Sessions
Who is able to Participate:
Children: 3 years (Fully Toilet Trained) through 6th Grade. Register your child for the grade they will be in Fall 2024.
Youth Volunteers: 7th through 12th Grade (Going into Fall 2024)
Adult Volunteers: 18 years and older. Free child care offered for volunteers who have children not able to participate in VBS.
Cost & Registration
$40.00 Per Child
$25.00 Per Child IF an adult is volunteering ALL week long

Donate to VBS
VBS MISSIONSThis year we will join the leading nongovernmental provider of clean water in the developing world! The international team at World Vision connects one new person with clean water every 10 seconds!
We will have the opportunity to turn our coins, dollars and checks into blessing countless families in Honduras, helping them have access to one of life’s most basic resources! Our goal is $1,500.
To encourage the joy of giving, we will have a “Ms. Rebecca Bucket” and a “Pastor Justin Bucket.” Children may decide whose bucket they want to put their money in. Whichever bucket receives the most money, then that person is safe! This competition is fun and friendly. Pastor Justin and Ms. Rebecca are excited to be a part of the fun to raise money!
We will be collecting food for PIN (People In Need). A list of specific items requested by PIN will be given. Items can be placed in the Main Hall during VBS. Thank you for donating!
