Vacation Bible School 2026

Program Overview

Powell UMC will be journeying to the Rainforest, where we will be exploring the nature of God!  Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in a relationship with God, their Creator, and find a safe place in life’s storms.

This summer take a 5 day journey with Powell UMC Vacation Bible School to allow your child’s world to be transformed! We will explore God’s Word, grow in friendships with each other and with Christ! The Bible stories come to life through teaching, exploring, and understanding how God is talking to us through scripture today in a fun, relevant and exciting way!

Meet the Bible Buddies, Learn and Understand Scripture, Discover in Imagination Station. Praise in Music. Meet friends and grow closer to Jesus at VBS!

This is a magical week where children engage, learn and build their faith! Sign your child up today and sign yourself or a youth up to volunteer and allow yourself or youth to be transformed too!

Children, Youth & Adults will be Growing in their Faith, & Sharing God’s Love to Change Our World!

VBS MISSION

This summer at Rainforest Falls, kids and adults will have the chance to donate to our Operation Kid-to-Kid program in partnership with World Vision. Just $9.00 provides one fruit tree seedling, plus training and support for planting and care. Our goal is to purchase 115 fruit trees!

In impoverished areas, fruit trees can transform entire communities:
    – Families enjoy fresh, nutritious fruit that keeps kids healthy and thriving
    – Parents can sell the extra in local markets for financial stability.
    – Seedlings can be shared with neighbors – multiplying the impact even more!

Please make checks out to PUMC and on the Memo line note: VBS Missions
